I have to admit that the notion has a little quixotic je ne sais quoi.
But I don't know who teaches Cajun French. You could always learn
French then pick up the local patois by talking to your neighbors. I
have to admit that I don't know how different it is from Canadian
French, except that I suspec

years. I speak spanish and it helps me in all sorts of areas. You would be
amazed the things that people will talk about when they think you can't
understand what they are saying.

speak Spanish, some organizations (city, state, county especially) offer
extra $$ if you are fluent. And since the Hispanic population is one of the
fasted growing in the US, it makes even more sense.

three different learn Spanish CD's and they all sucked. Then I discovered
that the Army has Rosetta Stone for free for service members, and I started
using that and no shit I am speaking Spanish in no time. I am not fluent y
Computer languages? OR human languages? :)
I can suggest 2:

There's a software package called Rosetta Stone, it's not horribly expensive
But it's supposed to be one of the best out there.
It's used by the US State Department, for what that's worth :)
