Baltimore was canceled, so she is flying through Chicago now.

How much did you get? Your over on Eastern Shore right?
Our local NBC weatherwatcher reported 11.5" but the 40mph gusts are creating
some nice tall drifts.

That's cool. One of my 2009 goals is to get better acquainted with
camera tech. We are foregoing a regular vacation in favor of a bunch
of long weekends to random cities (whatever is the best deal that
particular weekend), and I really would like to get some good pics
while visiting...
On Mon,
We got snow here last night and were supposed to get alot today but
there's been alot of freezing rain so far today...
yuck.

Usually using a photo stitching program. Usually you can see the
lines where it's been stitched together. That one's pretty cleanly
done. I **think** I can see the boundaries, but I'm not sure...
The key to a good stitch is taking the photo in the same
light/perspective and it helps if people

get sick of it and stay the he away.
@ray...
i take multiple images and stitch them together using Photoshop CS3's
Photomerge tool!

OK dude, that's an awesome picture but.what the hell are those birds in
the upper right hand corner of the pic? Maybe it's just the perspective, but
they look HUGE...they look almost like the winged monkeys from the Wizard of
Oz!

Heh, amazingly enough we didn't even get a dusting at our house. Most that

The roads are fine, wet and slushy.
Of course if I'd gotten my gov't. issued laptop on time I would've stayed
home too.
The only hazard on the road is the idiots in the AWD cars that think that
they can tailgate an

(though they are nasty slushy). No its not the roads its the 1 foot+ high
snow mound placed behing my car that the apartment complex generously put
there while plowing the road. That is what is keeping me from woundering out
