I so dig XTC (majors and generals, mayor of simpleton, helicoptor) but I can't
say I really care for their cover of All Along the WatchTower.
Check out the Dukes of the Stratosphere, Vanishing Girl on Rhapsody.

XTC does not suffer from overplay, oversaturation, overimitation and
quite frankly overglorification. On the rare occasion that XTC makes
I truly did not expect even _one_ person to agree that anything XTC
ever did was better than even sound checks by Jimi.
I don't even think _I_ agree!
=)
But I do love the entire White Music album.

If you like XTC then check out Dukes of the Stratosphere. I believe
there was an album called 25 O'Clock and at least one single "Vanishing
Girl". Dukes of the Stratosphere was the members of XTC plus one other
guy.

The release date of an album doesn't necessarily coincide with the
date you associate the popularity of a song with.
Woodstock took place in 1969. Curiously enough, acco
Dungeon masters don't have levels.

Put your damn pocket protectors away.
I've never seen BG.
I was just being a smart ass poking fun.
Hendrix released "All Along the Watchtower" on "Electric Ladyland" in 1968.
The Moon Landing was July 20, 1969.
So what level Dungeon Master are you?

Not really relevant, since most people think of JH when they hear that song.

Exactly... and since I've already watched the ends of "Starg
I had made the same connection with the original series but I did not
realize the date of the song, interesting, subtle. I so hope this goes
someplace really good next year.
Hendrix released "All Along the Watchtower" in 69 same year as the moon
landing, of course...

yeah, I just finished catching up with it today. I have very limited
time to watch tv nowadays and I watched the season of Ghost Whisperer
first since the eye candy is usually better :)
BTW, what's up with the "All Along The Watchtower" song? Very odd.

Those motherfrakers.
You just now came to this realization. I've been depressed about this
for nearly a month now. I've got 10 weeks of the end of Stargate, but
this is definitely a lesser and way too short substitute!
