As a general or to a specific group of authors?

A good blog post on how services like Twitter and FrienFeed tick and
interact. I like his ending:
"So if you're not quite sure where to start with FriendFeed, with Google

participate. That'll make all the difference."

Case in point: Someone started "following" me over the weekend.
Went to his twitter page to see who he was and whether or not his twitters
were worth following myself. Turned out he twitted somewhat responsibly (my
definition of that is someone who actually post useful links to useful tools

Only if you let it. It's not required reading. Spend 10-15 minutes a day
just checking in on it. There's tools Like OutTwit for Out

It is a fantastic tool for marketing if used correctly.
It is *needed* if part of your job or desire is to market yourself or your
business or *a* business.
I have some great eBooks about Twitter and Social Networking if someone
wants to drop me a line off-list.

aye. I use it quite a bit. I have somewhat attempted to separate my seesmic
support stuff into another account, so as not to totally flood my
downstream. I love it though.. post a question about a problem.. and I get
responses back just about instantly.. *shrug* I'm a social media whore. I

::nod:: mind you --- the fact that you twitter doesn't force anyone to
listen. So if you are worried about boring people, don't. As mentioned, I
was able to turn Critter off; I don't know him that well and we are not
working on the same stuff. It might be quite useful in instances where
people are.
I Twitter. but I am pretty sporatic about it, kinda like I am about blogging.

critter uses it. I was getting a feed of his stuff through, uh plaxo, I
think it was. I guess that happens by default on that site? I wound up
turning it off as it was more than I really needed to know. I guess I don't
understand how Twitter happens... surely he isn't stopping what he is doing

I'm on it but I don't use it... I had signed up for a job but since
I'm not there I haven't seen a reason for it.
It's a neat concept and I might go back to it some day.
