Registerfly is fucking my transfer. I've contacted their support a couple
times and filed a support ticket, but at this point I'm getting close to
losing my domain name.
Funny how they list used domains down the side...

I thought the same thing about Register.com.
After all this discussion I did a whois on my domain through register.com
and they had hijacked it. Now I'll admit that I haven't actually used it yet
(in two years), but it's mine. I had to call and get it "reactivated". WTF?

Trying to understand why people wouldn't switch to a lower cost place
like GoDaddy.

NameSecure.com is pretty good. They're only $12 per year, and does web and
email forwarding. So anything going to whatever.com gets sent to the URL you
choose.
I use it for some of my personal domains.

support should you need their help rescuing a domain from another
registrar in the event of a transfer to them (NetSol is the worst ...
They hate to give up the business) and their control panel is top notch.

I've found uk2net.com to be good, but then again they are UK based so

I love MyInternet.com - you register through NamesDirect, for $14/year I
think.
The MyInternet control panel gives you email, IP forwarding, etc - VERY
full featured and free.
