FP is easy to remove if you do it from add remove. I thought you were
trying to move it to another drive though. If that was the case
windoctor by norton utilities would fix that problem.

Yes, I *was* trying to move it. I did move it. My bitch is that now
that I have moved it, Word and Excel don't work, even after I moved it

I will keep the Systemworks suggestion in mind. It might be less

::shrug:: but I don't use DDE and I am very pissed off at Microsoft. I
downloaded Open Office last night, have the incentive to try it out
now.

Umm..I have to agree with Matthew there. You just cannot move installed
applications to other locations on your hard disk, and
expect everything to work. Microsoft or anything else.
Heck , if I even do that with GAMES, some of them won't work. The issue isn't a
microsoft one. If you feel that w

ok, so put them back and then uninstall FP you think? Thanks. I moved
my paging files to E so I might have room now. I suppose it seems
kinda dumb but at the time it seemed like a better idea than moving 11
gigs of Adobe suite.

You need to put the files you took from Frontpage back and then uninstall
about everything you don't need or can reinstall onto drive E. Moving any
Office files around is a major deal to Office because the applications share
so many files. I would definitely uninstall other programs before jus
Well yes, I thought the windows part was understood :)
I don't know how it is on other operating systems.

You're mostly right. It's more correct to say that you can't just expect to do
that _on Windows_. It took me a while to get used to
that
Get norton systemworks it has a program that fixes registry issues. So
if you move a program from C to D it will update all your reg links
from C to D automatically. Its worth the $$.

I remember being able to do that with Macs too. I agree that it's a
Microsoft OS issue.
