Well this is really funny. It is snowing in parts of California where there
should not be any. San Bernardino, Riverside, Redlands and some parts of the
coast. Meanwhile, where I live (3000 ft elevation), no snow, just temps in
the high 20's. No work for me to day since the roads are closed. Woo

Yeah, it is scattered all over. I am in the High Desert and the skies are
clear. If I look to the South at the mountains, I see lots of clouds and
snow. When I was going into work

Redlands here. 8:00am and there's a dusting of snow on the ground and

That's usually what it is like in our area too (25 miles north of Seattle).
If we get snow it usually only lasts the day. We have to drive into
the mountains to the east or to the west to get snow-time.
This year, we've had 5 days of snow that actually stayed around for
more than a couple days.

Come on! I know you miss more than just the weather ;-)
Traffic
Over crowded
Earthquakes
Riots
Don't forget California drivers.
(I lived in Oregon, and you could always tell, before you got close enough,
what the license plate would say).
And I live in Massachusetts, so the bar for bad drivers is pretty high.
