I can play the same files but I would have to start them at the same
time and control them individually.
I want the desktop to be the server and play while the laptop
recieves the same broadcast signal currently playing on the desktop.
That way the music and the picture will be synced.

I have desktop with XP pro in the dinning room and a Vista laptop
plugged into the TV in the living room. I want my music and videos to
play both places at the same time and I don't have an xbox or
playstation but I have a Wii. I have an extender for music but want to
do videos also. I'm looking at
