Ha, well no sooner did I post this thread, then a guy called me who is
interested enough in buying my SUV to fly in from Michigan to get it. I'll have
to see how things pan out with another buyer coming this weekend first, but
fairly hopeful that I have it sold.

It might be easier to sell it someplace like Carmax. They will buy it
for a little less than you could sell it for int he paper, but I am
sure they are use to dealing with situations like yours. You do not
have to buy anything from Carmax to sell a car to them.

Uggh, that sounds like it would turn off a buyer even more! I was trying to
find a way to make it less of an issue, not more of one. I'm not sure I see
what escrow buys you really in this c
