8 9 stand out to me, I can't decide which I prefer though.

6 and 7 for me. They seem a bit 'deeper' than the later ones and not as
button-ish as the earlier ones. And Green is definitly the way to go.

I agree with the button comments and as a result I say 5 is the way to go
(trademarks aside). 7 and 8 are more monochromatic and therefore less desirable
IMO. And I would avoid the red.

I like 8, myself. Not sure what the objection is to a button looking
like a button, though, so perhaps I am missing something. (Always
possible.) Are people saying it is cliched?

What say you all now as to which is best?

You know, they all look like buttons to me. I'm not big on logos,
personally. But, if I felt I _had_ to do a logo, I'd maybe take the
plum and make it a bit bigger, and superimpose the beginning of the
text over the top of it or something. Something to make it not look
like a button. But, I am in
8 - 5 - 4 in order for me.

Just as a friendly heads-up, be aware that the stylized cf is a
registered trademark as well as copyrighted art and using it in an
unapproved way probably violates their logo guidelines.
Do we know if Blackstone is going to be called CF7? They don't call
the current version CF6.

All of the logos on that page look identical to the color impaired among us.
(I thought the original post was a joke when i went to the page and saw that
all the logos were the same)
