Is it normal that text on LCD monitors is not as sharp as in CRTs? Do
you use Cleartype?
I'm trying out a Acer AL1913 and I'm having trouble with the text. I
need to decide whether to return it.
The Cleartype does help alot, but I notice that at 1024 x 768 it
REALLY looks crappy!

I did that. So what I did is put on the ClearType and used the MS
Tuner and it's really clear. I still see vertical lines a bit
