We saw a student opera production here of Turn of the Screw. Great

Crappy seats are only $15, and it ranges up from there to orchestra
seats for $62 (still completely reasonable). Parking is probably $5.
The Lyric Opera in KC isn't bad, this season has Carmen, The Turn of the
Screw, Lucia de Lammermoor and The Merry Widow.

Hey, what do you pay for tickets in KC? We were going to get tickets
for the opera here but the cheap seats start at something like $35 and
from others who've gone those seats are really bad. For decent seats
it's in the $80 range.

Fie on thee - I've got tickets to Carmen here in Kansas City, and I
can't wait. KC being KC, you won't get the breadth that you would in
Chicago or NY or the like, but I'll take what I can get. :)
