Actually I think this is a sort of self-protective denial. When I
worked down there (on H Street) I found that if I made eye contact
with people I'd get hit up for spare change six or seven times between
the parking garage and work.

For the record, I was coming from Albuquerque and trying to go to
Huntsville, and I have no idea what road I was on... all of them had

oh, amen. I get this one a lot, as the state noticed that my local
I-40 interchange was congested and therefore began a multi-year
project to mess it up even more Lane closures and the occasional
detour of all I-40 through the neighborhood, yup, we get this one a
LOT.
