It is a usefull tool to have, but not as your only browser. But do install something else as IE and Outlook and if the kids use MSN, make sure to get them on the web based beta (MSN uses IE).

MyDocuments folder to that partition. The partitions aren't absolutely
necessary, you could use folders. But a partition is also a limit on
their space.

I know you don't want to do a reinstall - but seriously ... I think you
should consider it.
You never know where all the far reaching tentacles have gone ...
Format (A TRUE format)
Re-install
Get ZA(or equivalent firewall) on there
Get Anti-virus
Get kids their own computer

Sure, you can try to clean it all out by hand. But from experience of
just doing that with one or two, it can be tricky to get everything
and many of them will repropogate themselves on reboots. And since the
only way to see if you got everything is to reboot...

1. Get DSL router with "firewall".
2. Get AV software.
3. Get new hard drive.
4. Reinstall system and install AV software.
5. Get rid of kids.

Hey all, need some help.
My brother's computer is a mess. Immediately upon boot, it's processor is maxed out at 100%, bringing the PC to a crawl almost immediately. He has the worst possible combination: DSL, no firewall, no AV, and KIDS! Needless to say, they've done some serious damage in a very
