The Royals have performed a lot better since their management change.
Who knows what in the hell is wrong with the Orioles. It doesn't help that
they are in the division with three of the best teams in baseball.

Baltimore has been poorly run for years.
They have the size and resources to be at least competitive with the Red Sox
and Yankees...but they make terrible free agent signings. They have no
concept of building a TEAM, vs compiling just a list of players that look
