This sounds like an instance of a poltergeist, do you have young
children?
I'm asking for a reason, nothing terribly bad,

Except it doesn't happen on Shabbos at all.
Maybe it's a ghost that keeps Shabbos?

My housekeeper once had an incident in her house where she heard someone come
in, walk loudly up the stairs, bang around in an old chair in the living room
... And when she went to look, there was no one there.
It was 2 am. No one else was home (her husband was working a night job).

We have three kids. A 9 year old, a 7 year old, and a 4 year old.
Why do you ask?

Tried it and no dice. Whatever it is, it just wants recognition. If it turns on
the radio and you tell it to go off, more often than not it does. We put up
something that kept it quiet for a few year, but they came down
This predates the kids and even me being married. Poltergeists are random and
mindless. This listens when you talk to it. :)

Maybe that would have worked when it was here but it's not now. Of course, I
don't care much about it. A little reminder of the spiritual now and again is a
healthy thing in my mind. Having a video of it wouln't do anything more than
give me a video. And it'll keep Judith up at night. (She

Just wondering.

Nope. Was watching Supernatural. My father did the wallpaper for it and it's
not bad. Makes me want to dust off my set of Man, Myth and Magic to track
what they get right and wrong. :)
Maybe I'll have to open a new site to post my occult supernatural
ramblings.

I grew up around a dozen people like Earl. The show was hilarious and spot
