I know this gets asked all the time but what do you use besides
adaware to scan for nasty things running on you computer? I searched
the archive but google wasn't very helpful today.

BHO Demon for dealing with meddlesome Browser Helper Objects. BHO's are
usually obseqious, but they can be troublesome (one BHO was preventing my IE
from loading).

It's not so much those sites these days. An unprotected machine will be
infected by many sites including things like msn.com. Even the advertising on
zd-net pages is provided by companies that are rated as spyware by SpyBot and
