I keep posters email addresses off of the digest in order to prevent them
from ending up in the hands of spammers. Why make their jobs easier? The
question is, how can I make it easier for people to contact a job poster?
The answer would be to have posts made from the archives to a job poster go

With the US dollar so low, I wonder how long it's going to be before other
countries with a stronger currency (i.e. the Euro) start looking to the US
for development outsourcing? Heck, I'd be happy to telecommute for a

In all seriousness, you'd be better served by changing your subscription to

recruiters and job ops off list. This list doesnt generate enough traffic

I find the tone and punctuation and capitalization entertaining, and
the quips are taken right out of my head, I think.

Hi Scott,
Actually I do have CF Jobs set to immediate receipt but I don't feel that
hearing the complaints of other programmers is an immediate need. I thought
that this forum was to discuss the advancement of our skills as well as form
bonds of brotherhood instead I find that petty bickering

My apologies then. I think that we (I and the few people that hit me up off

A lot of people remember these things.

Scott,
That is true, and for that, I do apologize if I misread the intent. I do
notice that my email is quite active since we put the ad up. Thank you

I dont think that Crow is referring to the add itself as spam, but Mr.
Cannady's insistence on posting every response to a position to the entire
board, not to the intended person, as asked by the original job poster.

Raleigh,
They are trying to outsource things to other countries here, something they
have tried in the past and failed at. I personally do not see how it is
cheaper when their current method includes hiring up 36 IT Architects to
help develop all the "paper work" that will be used to build things. After

Rob,
This is not spam Rob. I sought and received permission from the Users
Group to have them post this position for review. I believe that is what
the job forum is for; local members to be able to review potential
opportunities. For any candidates that are interested in this
