Jamie,
I had a similar question with Access and I solved the problem by setting the
feild to date/time and the default value to Now(). Worked like a charm for
me and I can retrieve the date time stamp of the record in other forms.
Good Luck

Hi everybody,
I've had a thoroughly annoying time trying to make CF export data to a file,
complete with nulls. I think the only proper solution is SQL based, which is why
its off-topic.
The problem is that the only way I can think of to do it is to have all non-null
values returned in quotes

Even with the latest version, though, it still takes a long time for
the files to be accessed and the file list displayed in the left-hand
window of studio. This has been a perpetual problem in Studio since
version 4. Seems to be particularly an
Steve,
Thanks for the response and detailed one at that! Im a rookie, but have a
decent grip on the functionality and purpose of the cards. Guess I did a
poor job of stating my inquiry.
Since most folk using CF are also running a webserver on the same machine...

I've never used an application.cfm file in this fusebox app and it used to
work - just app_globals.cfm and app_locals.cfm. In any case I tried adding
an application.cfm file and it still gererates a blank page. Thanks for the
suggestion tho.

I've just reinstalled ColdFusion server and a simple fusebox app that was
working fine before has stopped functioning propery. Instead of outputting
the page, ColdFusion generates a blank page and all that is in the generated
html source code is:

Forgive me if you've tried this, but you didn't mention it -
have you updated the index after changing the document?
