Anyone seen this before? Im simply working with a CFC that has
worked
fine, until some changes ive just added, but nothing too crazy just
some cfset statements, and some cfparams were added to it.

Good .NET developers are more expensive than a good CF developer, or at least
that has been my experience.
That is not the argument I would make though, I would use developer
productivity. You can query a database and output the result with two tags or
two lines of code. Compare that
I've been asked by a client to set up so he can do a podcast every
week or so. I'm a bit worried about this because he's not too
computer literate,, so i need to take away all the technical stuff for
him and make it as idiot-proof as possible.
What's the best route to take for me on this do you
