Tom, Good .NET developers are more expensive than a good CF developer, or at least that has been my experience.
That is not the argument I would make though, I would use developer productivity. You can query a database and output the result with two tags or two lines of code. Compare that ease of use with any other language including the latest media darlings like Ruby and Python.
