Unions and cold fusion mysql

Does anyone know how to create a workaround for the lack of unions in mysql? I've tried the temporary table route but I can't seem to create a temp table with cold fusion. I've tried CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE HOLD_TBL as Mysql suggests but cold fusion doesn't like it. Jeff

We have the Solaris, Linux and N.T. servers all running Cold Fusion. I've found both the Solaris and Linux versions very stable and great to work with. Of course NT is NT. We utilize both MySQL and Oracle for our databases. The Oracle version for Solaris seems to more stable. The linux
