We have used all sorts of commercial monitoring in the past,
but none of them were perfect, we needed to know if the web server, cf
server and sql server
were communicating and playing together nicely - not just a ping, who cares
if the server responds
to a simple ping when the cf server has
you can do this with style sheets - using the overflow attribute
embed your table into the cell of an outside table and use
overflow: auto;
in the style that is in the main cell - don't think it works on older NS
browsers (what does though)

don't bother showing him tons of numbers - i mean sure there are a jillion

Yup, we just ran into it on some applications we host- and it stinks - but
after a few hours i figured out how to make it work - you have to jump
through hoops and implement P3P on the server - which is actually easy -
just the instructions kind of stink.
here is where you can get started..
We still have one server pair that is running NT4 - and we want to upgrade
that one to the WIN2K advanced that all of our others are running - if I am
not moving from one server to the next and just upgrading - will all my IIS
setting stay intact or do I need to look at backing them up with a
/ clean
install.

we use repliweb - it is great - has tons of functionality and controls
microsoft also has a free one on the win2k web server resource kit - but it
is not as functional.
