The way I do it on a couple of sites is to store large images in one folder
and thumbs in another. I store one file name in the db table and just use:
#application.photos#\#table.jpeg_name#
or
#application.photos_thumb#\#table.jpeg_name#

Maybe the Lcase function?

Hi Mario,
Perhaps this is the case:
The cfftp is running from your CF server and the ftp is running from your
workstation. Assumption being your development pc and server pc aren't one
and the same? So, you'd need to see how the firewall rules differ from your
server to your workstation.

I do think CF should have image manipulation. I'm not about to go and learn

I'm using a form text area inout to store data into an ms sql nvartext
field.
My problem is that when the field is displayed all of the carriage returns
are lost and it ends up one big blob of hard to read text. Is there some
way I can format so that the carriage returns work, please?

Hi all,
CFID and how it really works is something I've never got to the bottom of.
I have never been able to find docs on MM that really explain it.
Scenario - I run a dating site and each time a user registers I store the
cfid against their user record in an ms sql table.
I'm been told that

Hi Ian,
Yes I had this problem too back in May. Exactly the same scenario.
After about three re-installs and applying the updater it eventually went
away. It is a documented bug on mm support.
I just had a dig and found this:

Hi Stuart,
I'm not the world best at SQL and it helps me to build my queries in MS SQL.
I keep queries running in ms sql where I can and only do it from a cfm file
when absolutely necessary. Even if it needs to be done from the cfm file, I
still create it in ms sql first, then copy across the
Correct Ade :-)
The way around it I use is to run a second query against the first query.

if you are using ms sql to build the query, right click the joining line in
the query builder and select to return all rows in the relevant table, this
does the appropriate join for you.
