Whose brilliant idea was it to do new development in .NET in a Unix
shop, and can you change their mind?
If not, buy the Windows server or host it in the cloud. It will be
far cheaper in the long run than the developer cost for time spent
trying to run it on Unix.

Yup, Mono and XSP will let you run C# .NET / ASP.NET applications on
