This happened to me many months ago (and continues), unfortunately the
e-mail address I use for cf-talk is my work e-mail, its probably to late to
change it to make any real difference now in spam traffic.

Actually, a check of the IP is much better. All HoF mail comes from
64.118.64.245 and will only come from that address. The HoF mail server is
locked down and can ONLY send out list mail (this mail is sent out through
earthlink, not HoF). For a spammer to send mail on that IP he would have to

I've blocked off a number of IPs that are used to scan the lists for email addresses. While the list policy is to never display an email address in the archives and never give them out, people who reply and leave the original posters email address in the post just help the spammers.
