Well, no, not really. CF doesn't map DNS names to IP addresses; that's done by other components. So, unless you changed the mapping for localhost which is in your hosts file to something other than 127.0.0.1, localhost always pointed (and will point) to 127.0.0.1, no matter what you do in CF.

So I'm not completely up on my CF Developer License info but I seem to recall hearing that after a certain amount of time, the dev server only accepts requests from a single IP. That IP is whichever IP first hits the server after a reboot. So, it sounds like you just need to reboot and make

I think the openwave browser was requesting pages from 127.0.0.1 and my CF had already mapped localhost to my other IP, which is inside my home firewall. So I *think* when I was viewing pages using CF and IE, I was requesting pages from 192.168.1.100 which is this particular computer's
