james, they emailed me back and said they checked the config file and it was
set to 30. Mine seems to be working fine now.

Has anyone heard any more about this Session is Invalid issue? I last
heard from CT support two days ago, and nothing since... and I am
still having the problem.
Thanks in advance,

Note that on its Forums, CT today says that this is a problem that
they are investigating and that, unlike the known issue with CFMX 6.1
and J2EE (the one addressed in their Knowledge Base article), this is
something different because it happens even when the J2EE and CFMX

There is a discussion started about this problem at CrystalTech's forums:

Also, it is related, I believe, the issue in this CF-Talk thread:

Here's what CT replied with. It doesn't make sense, if I hadn't set
sessiontimeout in app.cfm. Wouldn't it've defaulted to 30?
Thanks,
Will
Will,
This is not the case. I have checked in the web.xml file on your web server,
and the timeout is indeed set to 30.

would Firefox cause CF to error??
They need to check the underlying J2EE session timeout to ensure it really
is the same as the maximum session timeout they're allowing for CF's
sessions. I'm pretty sure the default JRun timeout is 20 minutes, not 30
(but I may be misremembering).

I didn't set the timeout at all, so it'll be defaulting at 30, which is what
they SAY it's set at.
I'll bet you're right about the J2EE's being set at 20. I just shot off an
email to them letting them know they need t

Are you setting the session timeout in your app lo
30 minutes is pretty standard with shared hosts.
