Hi Everyone,

Russ,
Our advanced version of Instant News does exactly that. You can search
either an individual industry such as telecommunications or search across 62
different ones. You can save the searches (we call them triggers) and even
have them emailed to you anytime there's something new.

This is a bit how RSSWatcher (www.rsswatcher.com) works. You enter a
keyword and N rss URLs. It then searches the RSS items for matches to
your keyword. Easy enough to do. Hardest part is remembering which
items you have matched before.

We are looking to implement a news feed for our clients. Something where
you can put a keyword and it searches the news sources for that keyword and
displays the results. How can I do this? Are google news, yahoo news an
option? Are there any news aggregators out there that we can get the feeds
et back in touch with me

Yep - starts at $6000 US!
We'll see if the client is willing to pay that much. It's exactly what
they need and are asking for, but I bet they won't be too willing to
jump on that price.

Afternoon,
I've got a client that
talk to me about it.
So, where does one look for industry specific news feeds? I've been
"googling" for close to three hours now and haven't come up with what
looks like a source for this sort of thing

Go to moreover.com. They have feeds in many, many formats. Some xml (wddx,
cdf, rss, etc...) and some others like flash.
Lots of different categories too, including world, tech and healthcare news.

Hi,
I am new to WDDX and I am wondering if this would be the correct way to
handle a WDDX news feed from MoreOver. Is there any way to avoid using
CFHTTP?

Check out www.moreover.com. They have VERY extensive news feeds available I
