Had the same issue a while ago, but on our dev server!   Best thing to do: back up your settings (lib?) dir, uninstall everything to do with CF, install CF 7. Copy settings as required (I actually deleted the settings in frustration so cannot help you get your settings going)   Joel -

w00t! props to Joel and my sysAdmin - we finally got it going! the key was in the comments of the second article that Joel posted - related to the max socket connections per application in XP. instead of letting the config util randomly scan the 100 ports we restricted it to 10 ports and it worke

That first one looks promising.   I followed all the instructions and it almost works.   But rather than running the cfm, it displays it in the browser.   In firefox it asks you to download it.   With or with the servlet-mapping it does this, so I’m thinking the servlet-mapping isn’
