Eclipse is getting a little faster with the improved Swing speeds in newer (Java 5+) JVM's. I use it at work for Java as it is free and it's something my company (as well as most) loves to do (keep costs low). Since I use Linux for my main box now (for server reasons) there is nothing out there for
