internet and now have a new computer and internet. I recently put an H.E.I.
distributer in my 69 elcy and would like to know if I did it right. I took the
firewall wire to the distributer(bat.+ ) side and ran a wire off that(bat+) down
to the syle

I just installed a set of South Side Machine lift bars on my 65 Malibu. Heres the problem. I need (want) to change the upper control arm bushings to polyurethane.

I have an M-21 I just rebuilt for sale. I spent a
little over $750 getting a full rebuild (all bearings, bushings, shift forks,
reverse gears, syncros and all other internals that needed replacing) I
have the receipt from Terry’s Transmissions in Ashford CT. I am
hoping to get the $750 I
64 and 65 are the same but if they don't have a 64, stands to reason they
wouldn't have the 65 either. Best bet, if NOBODY has a molded hose for a
64/65, is to find a friendly shop and see if they'll let you browse through
the selection and find one - even if it has to be cut to fit.

I can't find a place around here that offers upper and lower radiator
hoses for my 64 Malibu SS with the 283. Anyone know what other years are the
same hose? I don't want to use the "fits all" flex hose.

ok, i thought the comment/attitude sucked about my question about a manual
convertable top, i have never had one apart and did not know how it worked, i
thought it had a hyd cyl similar to a hood "strong arm" or a hach on a newer
van. i did not know there was a spring. we are suppose to help ea

Michael, all Chevy V-8's(except the new LS1 motor)have this
firing order: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. With the rotor pointing to
#1 you work clockwise using the above firing order.

is it doing this on turns or sitting still? the gas gauges in all my cars
move when i take a turn. If it is doing it while sitting still, it may be
that little ground wire that comes off the sending unit and screws to the
body. Normally a grounding problem will cause the needle to go
My 71 Chevelle has a gas gauge twick (I think I
spelled that right). It jumps up and down about 1/16 all the time. Act like it
is nerves. Could this be a grounding problem??

I have not yet dropped the gas tank but I will have to as the gas gauge
isn't working and tests point to the sending unit. I wonder if the mice got
to the gas tank sheet too! (If it exists there)
