Could probably do that, but its a
rare tranny, only used a few years. I am sure they are out there and could get
them, but I am assuming they were a standard aluminum
housing, and I want more protection than that.
Nobody is using a cast iron Bell Housing?
I am thinking about Dons
Hello - For quite awhile, I have used one of the Chevelle backgrounds from
the TC site on my computers. These have been a mix of Windows 95/98
machines. I recently went through a hard drive crash and replacement, and am
in the process of rebuilding everything on that pc.
I also upgraded to
Well I guess it all depends on how you define the term, but in my opinion when you have control of 80 or 85% of an industry, that is a monopoly, but then Windows has basically completely changed computers since the mid 80's. Also I don't think GM looses anything by someone not restoring their

Did you try saving the picture as a file as opposed to set as wallpaper? Try that then move the file into this folder. C:\WINDOWS\WEB\WALLPAPER This is where the wallpaper bitmaps are stored. Then go into the display properties and see if it shows up in the list of backgrounds. This is how it
Hello
There are two styles of horn caps, that I am aware of for the 64/65 Malibu
SS.
One has a inset black ring around the cap and the other a flat chrome
ring. Which is specific to the 64 Malibu SS? I have seen both on the cars,
and well, wondering if this was the case back in 64?
Larry,
The unisets will have the lubricator wick on them, the
individual pieces, points and condenser don't,they
rely on the lubricator that is mounted in the
distributor, I have a new uniset in the garage with
the wick mounted on it, I'm just hard headed and like
to use what came in the car.
Jim,
You'll like the change to W2K in the long run, believe me. I've been
running W2K Pro for over a year and like it much better than Win98 or NT. I
have W2K Pro on my PC, my wife's PC and W2K server on a third here at the
house and currently manage about 175 or so at work with another 100+
Standard Ignition (blue) brand points had the lubricator wick if you can
find those any longer; unless you just have to have D106P or PS AC Delco.

I can see GM's point. If it says GM on the part, or it
claims to be a GM replacement part or is a reproduction of something like
emblems, the mfg should have to pay a royalty for using the GM name. It's
~implying~ to the consumer that it's been blessed by GM and meets their quality
(?)
Tom:
the black one is for 65 and the one with more chrome is for 64.
Larry (Z)
Aaahhh yes but the single set use to come with the wick didn't they?

yer a walkin encyclopedia!

Hmmm
And to think I have been cheating all this time!
I just right mouse click on an image I like and there in the options
menu is an option to save this picture as a background.
I agree with Dale, W2K is much more stable than any previous version of
Windows. Much less crashing
That'll work too Steve. Depending on which browser you're using but I
assume you're referring to Internet Explorer. The only drawback is it saves
the file as Internet Explorer Wallpaper and if you find another and set it
to the background, it'll overwrite the current one. Additionally, it
Either that, Larry, or I'mgood at regurgitating
information. LOL!

I had that problem also with ARP main bearing studs and also with ARP head
bolts on my 427. The headers didn't fit because the lower head bolts stuck up
too high with the washers. I hate the 1/2 socket head of the ARP head bolts
that don't look close to stock size. I don't use any ARP bolts
That's what I used to use when I owned a 69 Buick Skylark with a lime
green vinyl top back in the late 70s.
