I don't really like the whirl sound of a flex fan
but I didn't know they worked so good.It would seem like a 17A fan would be
plenty on an old alt.with a clutch fan too.- Original Message -

Yep, I've had one of the all metal ones (a four blade unit came with my truck)...in all fairness they are much safer, but I replaced it with a six blade fan and clutch and it cools m

I pondered this at one time for my 69BB. I quickly
found out that it would not be worth the trouble. The way I understand it the
firewall in a AC car is quite different from a non AC. When I do go with AC it
will be Vintage air. I think in the long run it will save in just frustration

I'd say it'll be a tough job to convert a non-factory A/C car to
factory-style A/C. You'd be better off (although MUCH more expense) to go
with a Vintage Air kit. They work very well and installation is a breeze.

To all,
Russell Braided brake lines are a very good
product. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Replacing the small rubber
brake line hoses which go to the calipers and the drums, will improve your
braking. I like the way the brakes feel. Everyone I know that has installed

the hoses for my 71 Chevelle. I found that the hoses were scratching the
