Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking this is something I'm only going to want
to do once and from what I've heard it's easier to do while doing the engine
swap :) So, I'll probably go ahead and seel these super comps.

I haven't asked yet, but I'd imagine they'd recommend smaller headers also
since everyone else seems to. The cam lift is .525 i/e, L-98 corvette

of the replies confirm what I've been told. Don't mess with the large tubes

Hey Rodney. I put on a set of HSC 1 7/8" headers on my 408sbc. I spent a lot

Chuck,
That was exactly the information I needed. Thanks for taking the time to do
so - I really do appreciate it. And you're right about ebay...I was actually
hoping that the seller was on this list and would drop me a note but no such
luck!

I can't remember. Are the sail panel clips the same as the door panel
clips? If so both Year One and Ground Up has them.

To the best of my understanding, the size of the tube is driven by the cam
profile and head design. What does the motor builder recommend?

I picked up some Hooker Super Comps from Frank on this list a couple years
ago... at the time I didn't realize there were large tube and small tube
headers. Anyways, I'm getting ready to do an engine swap and I now realize
I have large tube headers. Everything I've read says that small tube

Tim,
For many years I used a custom console in my 67.

How long did it take? Took about 3 days
How much money did it cost? Cost about $25 (1979 money)

Tim,
I have a stock 4 speed console in my 68 that came with the car. The only
feature is the storage compartment. It is in good shape & I like the way it
looks. Since the interior is completely stock I prefer a stock console. If I
had a radical custom interior then I'd go with a custom console.

Hello,
In school I am doing a project on custom consoles, aftermarket, and stock consoles. I
need to research the three, find out which is the most useable to the driver, and how
much each cost. I need to ask a huge favor to anybody that has these. If you could
fill out a little survey for me,
Has anybody got their number books handy? There is a tailshaft for a Muncie

1970 vintage. I've got a 70 but the tailshaft accidentally got swapped out
with one from a '65 Vette many years ago when it was in for a rebuild.
