Are you still looking for a 327?
I just was talking to a friend in Anaheim and his buddy happened to be
there and he mentioned he had a 327 he wanted to part with. I think he said
it ran fine and had about 40,000 miles on it I don't remember exactly. But
if you want I will get some mor

I am a PPG jobber. I sell DP primers all the time to customers doing
restorations. The main reason I sell it is DP's moisture and corrosion
resistant qualities. I disagree that it will eventually absorb moisture.
If you read the technical bulletins, yes, it was designed to be top
coated. In a real
We are restoring a 65 Chevelle for the first time and the back end was rough.
We have a few questions about the trunk area that we hope someone can help us
with.
1. How and where is the trunk latch attached to the inside of the trunk?
2. Where and how is the spare tire tied down?

Hi Ed I recently ordered a set of tires from summit, they came UPS- i would not think

Hi All,
Was wondering if any of you on the list have the spacer between the core support and the radiator for a 66 or 67 V-8 Nova? Got to talking to my mail man today who for all these yrs. i thought was a pyscho and turns out he has about 3 or 4 chevy musclecars, and he needs one of these. L

Joe, yes, this stuff does look great by itself, but eventually over time it WILL
absorb moisture like any other primer, i personally use DAR9000 black (over the top of
the dp for chasis), but it has a shine to it, GM makes a chassis black which they sell
by the quart or gallon, but I personally
James,
I tried to send this to your address and it did not work. I have a complete set of four original 69-70 SS wheels I am looking to sell for 250. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you pics.

I would leave it alone. It will probably
lose a little of the semi gloss luster after a while but it won’t be that
noticeable. You don’t have to worry about moisture penetration. That’s
the beauty of DP.
I wouldn’t clear coat it because it
would give it a “cheesy” appearance.

Any help on this would be appreciated.
Just sold a set of wheels and tires (mounted). Need to ship these from SC to Mass. Any pointers on the best way and the best carrier. I am not experienced in this area at all.
Thx
Ed
So would you spray maybe a clear on top of the DP90, or just leave it alone?
Sounds like I could leave it alone and it would just be fine. That's great thanks
Thank you Bill,

I wouldn’t worry about a thing if I
were you.
DP90 is an epoxy primer that was designed
to be top coated. However, it is a primer that is not porous. It won’t
absorb moisture and allow rust to start. Anytime I strip a part it gets DP
primer. You can leave the part in DP indefinitely unt
