Also on the engine harness there is a pink wire & a yellow wire going to a
plastic connector. It is ganged with all the wiper motor wires & what I
presume is the oil sending unit wire. I guess that plastic connector is for
the washer pump?

It's a 69 el camino. There are a few that remain a mystery, but I think they
will find themselves out. For instance, on either side of the lamp harness
ganged together with the wires for the inner headlights, there is a heavy

the others are. Unfortunately the original harnesses were cut out, so there
is nothing to compare to.

Most cars have the two harnesses for engine area and some have a third for
wipers. Most I have seen have the plugs that go right on the back of the
lights.

I'm a little bit confused about the wiring harnesses because I looked at the
forward lamp harness, and I didn't see where I wou

Guys,
I parted out a 72 SS Chevelle to build my clone(not
much left of the SS but a frame) It has the heavy duty suspension, and what
looks to be the original rear end. Can anyone tell me how to ID the rear end, or
the gear ratio? I've scraped off the road grime, and can't find much of a

I am going to try to install a new
package tray in my 69 SS. Can anyone give me any ideas on how to mount
the speakers. Would like to see any photo's that you have. Looks like
someone already cut out larger areas where the speakers go. Thanks
