Excellent Herb. Then again I am one of the lucky ones who has seen it in
person. That day at the MCC show was really one of the nicest days and best
shows I have ever been to. I'm sorry that I missed the last one. It was
great meeting you and Carol.
Nice going Herb!

Sorry, folks. Forgot that replies to Chevelle List e-mails go to the
Chevelle List, not direct to the original poster.
Won't happen again.

Nice project car !!! I would concentrate on getting the old gal running and fix her as you go. Work on brakes and suspension, body, interior and go from there. Good luck.

Hi everyone,
I'm sure most of you haven't received your Chevelle World yet. Since Chuck
so graciously sent mine a little early, I thought I would share some of the
newest issue with my favorite list!

Southside Machine advertises on maliburacing.com. I tried there website,southsidemachine.com but the it no longer exists. They also list a phone number, 419-846-3556 and an e-mail address, [EMAIL PROTECTED] I haven't tried either of these. Hope this helps.

Some of the old alu aftermarket intakes have the hole for the Oil fill tube.
It is blocked off with a plug but you can remove the plug and install an
oil fill tube. I still see them at swap meets.

It's amazing how many people I run into on the Net that I knew from other
organizations I've either managed or belonged to. The internet really has
made the world a much smaller place. I quit flying and sold my Challenger
when my wife suffered her first stroke. We had to sell off a lot of our toys
Wow, what a small world!
I have some of the old newsletters from the ICOA. I kinda felt guilty
when Jim discontinued the newsletters because of health and declining
subscriptions, because my Challenger list was growing like crazy.
FlyChallenger is the largest Challenger list in the world, and
p.s. if the hole in the block presents a problem, you can use a freeze-out
plug to close it up. IIRC, I had to do that on the engine in my El Camino (a
283 from 1958).

You might look at an Edelbrock #2701. I'm just not sure about the oil
filler. You can see their catalog at www.edelbrock.com
but I'd call their tech line a 1-8
Good to have you aboard,J.D. You found the right place to learn about

It's possible you and I have talked before. I'm the founder of the

This will be mostly a stock engine so I'm thinking it needs to be of modest runner
size and suitable for idle to 4500 rpm.
This is for my 4 door and driveabilty and decent mileage are important.
