There aren’t
any storage facilities anywhere near me where you could keep a car. Garages are
extremely hard to find, and if you do find one, they go for about $200/month.
So, I'd be looking at investing $2400/year just to have it sit in storage. I work

What about some sorta storage facility? Theres a couple here that are just people that have a bunch of property, and store peoples cars, motorhomes, etcbut you could also go to a actual storage facilityJust a thought

Well Bob, that's the whole problem I've had no time for
shows, cruises, or beaches for the past couple of years, and it’s hard to put
up a canvas shelter on the streets of Brooklyn. Don’t forget, I live in an
apartment in NYC. I really don’t have a place to keep it.

John, don't sell it, put a cover on it for the winter, put two on it if necessary. You've worked so hard and for so long. It would be a shame if you didn't get to really enjoy it. Shows, cruises, hitting the beachs. Can you swing a canvas type shelter, w/zippered doors. A friend has one in Mary

Graham,
I have an extra transmission cross member that I bought out of a 68 SS
parts car (don't know for sure if it was an automatic or a manual car & I
don't know if 68 interchanges with 67, but maybe you do).

OK, that makes sense. Seems like it would add a little extra weight
though.

Ah, sorry for not being more descriptive... I need the Cross Member for the
Transmission, manual. Goes in between the two frame rails, mounts tailend of
the tranny.

Hi everyone,
I'm now at that part of the project that splits men from the mice's, I
have welded in two 2" (0,120" thick) tubes between the frame legs, one
is under the cowl and one is where the radiator was supposed to be.
My plan is now to cut out the original crossmember to adapt the corvette

When your car is on the cover everyone know its the best in that issue

Well we Chevelle list guys and girls can always say that we knew before

Has anyone out there boxed a 2-door hardtop frame to make it as rigid as a
convertible frame? I'm considering doing this while the body is off the

not be raced, but I'm building it to handle the corners well
