RE: [Chevelle-list] 1/8 time slip

2004-03-19 Thread Bill Vander Werf
I found a multiplier of 1.5721 somewhere on the web that works out to be pretty accurate. I have a slip here with a  7.372 1/8th . Multiplying 7.372 by 1.5721 works out to be 11.589…..pretty close (actual was 11.583). A 7.1 would work out to about an 11.16 with this formula.   Bill Vander

I don't know that formula, but this site has lots of other good stuff. Like HP from 1/8th mile, etc..   http://www.smokemup.com/auto_math/index.php   You might have to register, but it's free.   Charles www.65ss.com - Original Message - From: Jack Thorpe To: Chevelle-lis

No stock oval port BBC head came with anything other than the 2.06/1.72 valve combo. Almost all rectangular port BBC heads came with the 2.19/1.88 combo. I would have to see some documentation of any production BBC rect.port head with 2.25 intakes. I had a pair of Bowtie alum. oval port heads w/2.2
