A senior citizen in Florida bought a brand new Mercedes SL55 convertible.
He took off down the road, flooring it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing
through what little hair he had left on his head.
This is great, he thought as he roared down I-75. He pushed the pedal to
the metal even more.
Bologna, is it lunch time yet, where's the mustard ?
Yes, I've used mine several times. Only on my newer vehicles though - my Chevelle
doesn't have a paint job worth worrying about either. The best part of the unit is
the ability to rinse with softened/purified water. It isn't as fast as the
do-it-yourself car wash because you have to

Just an FYI. This is the last chance to order the Automatic to Manual transmission
conversion kits (includes pedals, pads, clutch fork, bellcrank, bellcrank
bracket, clutch rods, bushings, etc.) at the low price of $249.95. I know that
OPG charges $329 for the same kits, and I presume that
My sister told me yesterday about it on her 03 GTP and it took most of
the wax off and left some cloudy spots. She has to rewash it and re-wax
it totally now and/or buff it.

Thanks

Dale,
I can see that you made a decision and I
know you have been thinking about it for a while and that we already discussed
the matter a while ago therefore I wont say anything about if you should on not
do it.
BUT
Are you sure
I agree. Even if you hated it as a custom, I don't think you could
build that car for $28,000 if
someone GAVE you a decent '67 SS to begin with...

I was here before and have asked a couple questions lately, so I thought I
would throw out the rest of my info.
Bought a 71 SS 350 convertible in 1973 and put 200K miles on it. (strong
engine). Sold it in 1987 when my wife got pregnant, so we could get
(practicle) cars. Been kicking myself ever

Well, you're probably right that the car couldn't be built
for $28K even with a starter car.I thought I'd give anyone on TC and the
mailing list first crack though. If nothing happens in a few days, I'll put
it up on eBay with a $28K-$30K

Look into the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale AZ in Jan each year. Your car could easily go for 40K+ I went this year and watch very rich people pay over 100K for Plymouth Hemi's. If its pretty its a winner.

If you are going
for the ultimate, you can get the latest LSx series engine, or go for more cubes
and get the truck stroker. The LSx series uses completely different

cool, but when I see it on a show car it
