I am in the Impala SS club. I buy all my GM parts through Dal. The price is about 1/2 to 65% of my local dealer. There is not as much available for older cars anymore, but I use Dal for all my 99 pickup parts and 96 Impala parts. Highly recommended. Mark 71SS

Hmm that gives me an idea. If one Chevelle dude can get a 20% discount at a GM Dealer why not all? You would think a club system like Team Chevelle, Aces, or even a local club could negotiate a deal like that for members? I wonder how many local clubs get discounts at sponsoring GM Dealer

FWIW, GM Parts Direct (http://www.gmpartsdirect.com) has the same part #12498733 for $640.50 but no listing of individual parts.  Same price for the small block unit as well (#12497698) and they have a picture of the small block unit (http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/part_images/124976981.jpg)
