HELP!! I just went
looking for two front wheel studs for my '70 but none of the parts places listed
a 70 with front disc brakes. Does anyone out there know where I can get the
correct studs. I picked up a couple from a local parts place after digging
through all the bins and
I was having trouble with the car running
roughly all of a sudden yesterday.
I pulled the air cleaner off, and found a giant piece
of the rubber seal that is supposed to be on the air filter, sticking out of my
carb. Another
giant piece is missing, I suppose its somewhere in a valve seat or
Tire stores should have the studs you need, at least that is where I have
found them for '71 w/disc brakes.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Front Wheel Studs...
Hey Guys,
I have decided to change to the newer style alternator, internal
regulator/one wire, so I am selling my new PowerMaster 7102 Alternator (60
AMP) and a new NAPA External voltage regulator.
Approx 30 minutes runtime on Alternator (charging system never hooked up).
Regulator never hooked
Well, I came across other items that I will not be using. I got both of
these about 1 year ago from Summit and never installed/used them.
* Taylor 8mm High Energy Wire set, #64602 - GM V8 HEI, 90 degree boots

* ARP Hi-Troque Starter bolt
Thanks Brian for the reply but I decided to use the ones I got from a
local auto parts store and they worked fine. The lug nuts are the long
sleeve ones so there is still plenty of stud in the lug nut.
