Mike,
Thanks for your input. It's a good thought, to assure whether or not
it's the carb. Have you done this and what is the outcome? Do they
provide an analysis of the carb's function?

I've got a kill switch on my '70. It's wired in with the neutral safety
switch and hidden well under the dash. I've even cut the toggle off the
switch so that even if someone is feeling under the dash it is hard to
locate unless you get your head on the floor and look under the dash,
then it's stil

Another cool new item is the 68-72 complete floor pan with all three braces,
the rear seat shelf, and the rocker panels all pre-welded. It's more
expensive than buying the separate pieces and putting them together
yourself, but time is also of value, and you would probably end up with a

Clint, $49 is not exactly a bargain. I could sell you the same brackets for

expensive ones like you are showing. Those are the ones that Goodmark and

I'm wanting to install some aftermarket bucket seats in my 69 Camino. The

HI Dennis,
My 71 convertible chevelle had it's kill switch as the cigarette lighter. I
put a push on/push off switch. I kept the factory cigarette lighter and
just removed the element. It worked great.

Do you have their website address or a phone number?

Fred, may I suggest you send the carb, whatever you
have, to the carb shop in California? Include all your
specific engine/drive train information, weight and
such and have them "flow" the carb. At least you will
know the problem is not the carb after that.
Hope this helps

Go here http://www.mortec.com/ and run the number
on your block. My guess is when you find it on the website, it will say 2 or 4
bolt. The only way you can tell for sure is pull your oil pan.

Do I have to tear the engine apart to see if it's 2

or can it be
determined by the block#?
