Too bad it beats anything the General has for the same kind of money (unless
you want a truck)...and IMO it has better styling then the GTO. GM should
had gone the way Ford did with the new Mustang instead of going after the
tuner crowd (would a tuner know what to do with a v8?)

Quick questions all,
Does anyone know how long is the tailshaft on a
69 ss396 th400 and how long is the driveshaft for that setup? Im trying to get
all the drivetrain pieces done before I put the body back on and send it to
paint. Thanks ahead of time –RJ Winkler
IF IT IS RS/SS IT WILL HAVE RS/SS ON GAS CAP
Hi,
On a RS SS camaro the SS badges were
dominate and the RS was an appearance package with the hidden headlamps,
different tail lights, different back up lamps added but no rs
badges.
If it is just a camaro with RS, then there
are rs emblems.

Jim: I was told by a Camaro guy that the RS is an option ,as well as SS is an option. I had the same question. He has a 69 RS SS 396 and swears its original. Hope this helps.

Hey Phil,
I"m in the same boat as the rest of you, so i do understand. So far
the only rationale answer I have received is to just "ignore" the issue and
carry on... that's what most of the event coordinators are doing at this
time. So far from what I've seen is that there is no "easy"
