I was thinking about re-routing the fuel line up into the trunk area, installing a manual fuel shut off valve at the trunk floorand then running it back down to follow it's original fuel line path along the frame and up to the pump. Question - would astock mechincal pump be able to handle this

When I replaced mine I spent forever trying to get the rusted old ones outjust to find out that it takes about 2 seconds for a press to push them out. At 4 bucks a bushing I had the new ones pressed in. Not a real hard job, just takes time cause they're in there real well. -RJ -Original
