I'm a PPG jobber. The color you are looking for
really isn't an issue. I use my PPG "Prophet" probably 8 to 10 times a day on
the average. I find that as long as I have the computer make a formula in either
Deltron DBC basecoat or PPG Global (my personal favorite) I have a 95% hit
rat

I doubt you will find a used LS7 in a salvage yard any time soon. However,I
have seen a couple of them sell on eBay. A used LS6 with a cam & heads
package will make the same HP/TQ for a lot less money without the hassle of
a dry sump oiling system.

Currently I have a .030 over 427 big block (1973 454 block and 396
crank), RPM Heads, Comp Cams hyd roller, and Richmond 5 speed in my 65
SS. It runs great, has gobs of HP, sounds BAD, and gets 10 mpg with an
egg under my foot. My plan is remove the BB and trans, and replace it
with a used LS
Rick the paint website helped. I sent it to the owner and he thinks he
knows the color. I will still get the color scanned to verify if he is right in
Rosenberg
at AJ Foyt’s paint. We still don’t know the trim color, but
we’re working on it. One problem is viewing the color on your monit
