I recently put one in my 67. It made a big difference. More responsive
feel and less soft and sloppy. They provide a new box, no core, and it
looks original. There's another company, Power Steering, Inc (I think),
that will rebuild your existing box with a tighter ratio.

reference point: the 1967 Chevelle brochure doesn't list radial tires as an
option. It does list whitewall tires, so the opportunity was there to include
radials if Chevy was offering them in mid-to-late 1966 when the brochure was

shows both the xxx17 and xxx37 designations as "2 door sp

"Residual torque after roll test to be 25 lbs-ft minimum". The roll test is not
