issue on all small block Vette motors 63-68 and many passenger cars from what

as i remember,the targetmaster started life as a "GM" athorized "re-manufactured" engine that was sold by dealers and chain type parts stores, and i also remember a very high faliure rate.

wrong info on mex blocks All mex blocks are of a 4bolt nature due the fact that they are weeker castings than domestic blocks -- they are cast with much less nickel & tin therefore making them prone to HIGH wear(have seen cyl. ridges at 50k that 010/020blocks wont have at 150k)

I've heard/read that the Mexican blocks are actually beefier than the late
70's-mid 80's blocks? CHP did a buildup with a Goodwrench 350 and they got
well over 400hp out of
