i bought mine a while back on ebay for about 30 bucks. to tell you the truth i emailed the seller (partshouse) and told him i didn't think the CD was worth 15 bucks.not much help and put together very economically

they are doing you a favor. i work at a dealer so i get my parts cost plus
10% thats why i was so interested. as for the search, i used to work at a
plymouth dealer. i would get the gm part numbers and then have my bud

i was looking at a GM resoration parts book, there are no pictures, only
descriptions, i thought gm made all the parts listed in the book, the gm
parts mgr said no, they get them from the place listed, like classic

I don't think GM is remaking anything. They license the rights to
reproduce if I'm not mistaken. You might try getting a hold of a program by
Detroit Iron. It's a CD of photocopies of the GM Parts Accessory manual,
Body Chassis manual, and a couple of others. Around $40-$50 but it's
worth

while back and found it at their website.

Superstore lists the
CD's.
Unfortunately, you found out the
hard way about Original GM parts being
resold at a huge markup. Sometimes these are old dealer stocks that
have
been bought and many times you can find the same thing at your
local
dealer. I was looking for door striker bolts. Everyone wanted
$8-$10 each
for them.
